Informant Protection

L&F complies with strict protection measures for the informant and do not disclose the ID of the informant or any information suggesting it without consent of the informant.
Subject to protection

Protection of the informant is under the condition of submitting real name and accurate evidence. And we will protect the information on the report of informant and on the interested parties concerned with the highest level of confidentiality.

Subject to protection for the informant
  • (1) ID protection : Strict prohibition of disclosing or implying the information of the informant without consent of the informant
  • (2) Guarantee of ID : In case the unfavorable measures taken against or the punishment of the informant are recognized to have been incurred by the report, restitution or equivalent compensation shall be made.
  • (3) Ease of Responsibility : When the informant reports corruption or irregularities involving the informant himself/herself, a reasonable treatment will be followed in full consideration of the extenuating circumstances.
Protection Policy

The informant and reports are completely protected as confidential by L&F’s management support department, and the report system is protected by a safe security system. In addition, It is carried out by personnel who have pledged to comply with confidentiality. In the case of report of corruption or corruption related to the informant, L&F will deal with it reasonably through sufficient consideration.

Report subject

You may reports on unreasonable requests using employee positions and employee’s receipt of reward (money or other valuables) from interested parties It must be reportedunder the real name of the informant, and non-factual slander and personal privacy matters will not be processed.

Report object

· Employees' job-related misconduct, dishonor, and dignity and acts that damage the reputation of L&F
· Employees' embezzlement of money and commission
· Dissemination of false facts and rumors
· Cases of double employment of L&F’s employees
· Acceptance of gifts and entertainment
· Harassment related to personnel such as promotion and hiring.
· Leakage of corporate secrets and customer-related information
· Other acts that violate the company's code of ethics

Report handling procedure

Your report will be handled as follows.

  • Report

    When you click the “Report” button, an e-mail is automatically sent to the “webpage Administrator”.
  • Registration confirm

    The information you report is prioritized to protect the identity of the informant, and is checked in advance by the relevant department. (It may take a certain time)
  • Investigation

    The investigation begins after the confirmation of the number of investigation personnel and period.
    However, the investigation period may vary depending on the order of application and the case.
  • Action

    The investigation of the report is completed when the facts of the report are confirmed through securing objective evidence and interview.
  • Closing

    After completion of the investigation, disciplinary action will be decided according to internal regulations, and rewards will be decided based on the content of the report.
Check the result

When the informant reports in his/her real name and explicitly requests a reply to the results, L&F will reply the results to the informant, unless it violates the company's legitimate rights and interests.

In the event of workplace misconduct or sexual harassment from L&F employees, it is operated in a closed manner upon receiving a report.
Workplace Assault/harassment

Any act that infringes on the right and dignity of an employee in the workplace, causing physical or mental pain to other employees or worsening the work environment by using the superior position in the workplace (refer to Article 5 of our workplace harassment prevention regulations)

Sexual harassment

Acts that make others feel sexually humiliated or disgusted by using their position in the workplace or by sexual verbal or sexual demands related to workActs that gives an employment penalty for the other party's sexual speech or non-compliance with a request

The confidentiality of the reporter is protected, and the contents of the report are investigated within 2 weeks to 1 month and L&F will reply the result to the informant by e-mail.

Report on conflict minerals/child labor exploitation.
Conflict Minerals

Violation of OECD guidelines for responsible supply chains to enable L&F to investigate and interact with suppliers in conflict areas when purchasing cobalt and other minerals.

Child labor exploitation

In connection with the mining and extraction of raw materials, potential human rights violations such as child labor, forced labor, and all kinds of slavery and human trafficking are involved.

The confidentiality of the reporter is protected, and the contents of the report are investigated within 2 weeks to 1 month and L&F will reply the result to the informant by e-mail.

* Treatment of Personal Information and Retention Period
Personal information collected via L&F Hotline system is to be kept in principle for 1 year after the closing of the case for the report, but exceptions apply to cases in need of additional retention.* Consent to provide personal information to a third party
In order to handle the report, the personal information may be provided to a related company; if you do not want this, you should use Anonymity Report system.
